our Approach
Therapy should be a space for those to feel supported, safe, and secure. Our therapeutic interventions include cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma informed therapy, and play therapy.
At Glowing Pathways Counseling, we aim to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. We are dedicated to understanding the unique challenges and experiences faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals and tailoring our therapy approach to meet their specific needs. We are committed to fostering a nonjudgmental and inclusive environment where all clients feel heard, validated, and supported on their journey towards mental health and well-being.

Welcome!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. I am committed to ongoing education and evidence-based practice to ensure ethical, thoughtful, and effective care for those I serve.
I specialize in working with children and teenagers, with a focus on parent-child conflict, high-conflict divorce, reunification, and blended family dynamics. I also support children and adolescents who have experienced severe trauma and grief, providing a safe, trauma-informed space to process loss, build resilience, and restore emotional stability.
Additionally, I work with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, and significant emotional dysregulation, helping them develop insight, coping skills, and self-regulation in a developmentally appropriate manner. I also provide specialized support to mothers experiencing postpartum depression during a vulnerable and transitional period.
My therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and family systems, allowing treatment to be individualized to meet each client and family’s unique needs.
If you are seeking experienced, compassionate support for yourself or your family, I invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), offering a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive space where you can grow and flourish as an individual. I welcome clients from across New Mexico, a state I’ve proudly called home for over 20 years. As an individual born into a multiracial family and a member of the LGBTQIA2+ community, I bring a culturally aware and inclusive perspective to my practice. For over a decade, I have dedicated my work to serving our community and continuously expanding my knowledge to better support individuals from all walks of life.
I have experience working with adult individuals navigating severe mental illness, dual diagnosis, relational conflict, addiction, life transitions, and self-discovery. My therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, crisis intervention, strengths-based approaches, psychoeducation, and Motivational Interviewing.
When working with children and teens, I utilize developmentally appropriate and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet their unique emotional and psychological needs. My approach often includes play therapy and expressive arts, which provide young clients with a safe and creative outlet to process emotions and experiences that may be difficult to express verbally. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help youth build emotional regulation skills, challenge negative thought patterns, and improve interpersonal relationships/conflict. For teens experiencing trauma, I offer trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices that support healing and resilience. My goal is to create a supportive environment where children and adolescents feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and self-awareness.
